I like the look, of the steel rims on the Smart fortwo, especially the deep dishes on the Roadster wheels, so I’ve bought a set for mine, instead of taking the usual alloy route.
The original steel wheels have been equipped with winter tyres, and the new Smart Roadster rims have received a set of summer tyres.
The front tyres are 175/55-15 Hankook K425’s and the rear tyres are 195/50-15 Hankook K115’s
In order to legally mount the rear wheels on the Smart fortwo 450, you have to mount a set of wider wheel arches, as they are slightly wider than the car.
Luckily, the original Smart fortwo Brabus wheel arches are easy to get hold of, easy to mount, and have the perfect extra width.
Have you mounted wider rims on your car? If so what rims did you get, and why did you choose them?
