My little Smart Fortwo Cabrio’s soft top hasn’t had a spa-day for a very long time. So last night it got a quick wash, its top got scrubbed, and at the end it got it’s top protected from the elements.

I started out with cleaning the top with ValetPro Drop Top Cleaner. Then while the roof dried, the rest of the car got a wash, and the alloy rims got a scrub.

When the rest of the car shined, I returned my attention to the cabriolet’s fabric roof. Now it was time to seal it from the elements with ValetPro Drop Top Protector, so that water ingress can be stopped.

This morning when the protector had cured, I came out to a completely different roof. The fabric felt thinner, more light, and more flexible than ever, and water runs of it, like it does on a duck.

What do you treat your cabriolet with, and why did you chose those products?
