Biltema Wheel Rim Brush - The one I had disintegrated during it's third carwash.

Biltema Rim Brush

Testing out the Biltema Rim Brush Art. 37-4503. The brush pretty much does what it says on the box.

The bristles on the brush are stiff, and they are good at getting in everywhere except the tightest corners, where you have to work a fair bit harder.

Some rim brushes can scratch the rims with the metal core, if you aren’t careful. The stiff bristles on this one didn’t let it anywhere near my rims.

The only backside, wouldn’t even be a backside, if they hadn’t bragged about it’s “Ergonomic handle for good grip”. In reality it is just a hard plastic handle that’s a tad to small to fit comfortably in a grown-ups hand.

So would I recommend it?
No, I wouldn’t say that this is the brush you need.
It’s OK, and there is nothing wrong with it, but at the same time, there is nothing special about it, that would give me a reason to drive an extra mile to get one the next time.

Update – It disintegrated

After my third carwash, using this brush it fell completely appart between my hands.
The twisted metal wire let go of the handle, and I could easily have scratcheed my rims, if I hadn’t seen it happen.

And already while using it the second time, the brush’ hairs lost their shape, and were kind of flattened.

So I really would NOT recommend this product, it’s not worth your time!

The replacement

I bought a Optimize Chenille Wheel Brush, as a replacement. Not expecting any improvements, (except for hopefully a brush that didn’t fall apart while being used). However the new ones works like a charm, with less effort and in less time.
